The Shopsteward Magazine was published, with the first publication released around June 1992 as a voice for workers, presenting unheard thoughts of the working class communities, typically absent from mainstream media, showcasing concealed worker’s narratives before and during apartheid, providing a space for workers to share their views, engage in societal discourse, cultivate critical intellectual exchange, exchange literature, promote poetry, and music within the framework of class struggle.
